There is something sobering about taking your first steps into the ocean where there are 30 foot waves towering over your head. Nelscott Reef is a quarter mile or so off the shore of Lincoln City. The Summer 2011 issue of Women's Adventure Magazine just came out with a shot of Christie Glissmeyer on the Carson River in Washington. The Hemlock Butte Shelter is a little three story cabin located at the base of Mount Bailey. The cabin is fairly isolated from everything which makes life simple & extremely quiet out in those parts. In the first edition of Shred NW Magazine, Mt. Bachelor released their newest ad.The photo that I captured is of Jonas Carlson jumping next to Thunderdome, which is a rocky volcanic mini-butte next to the Skyliner Chair. Jonas & the rest of the crew were being clocked with a speed gun reaching speeds of 50-60mph on icy crusty snow, good times!

The 2010 Fall SPORTHILL Catalogue is out now & Jenalee made the cover with a shot that I took up at Sparks Lake. It looks peaceful but at the time there was millions of mosquitoes swarming for blood.
